Rohit Shetty comes to Sara Ali Khan’s rescue
We reported a few days ago how the makers of Kedarnath, which happens to be the debut vehicle of Sara Ali Khan, were planning to drag her to court because of an apparent breach of contract on her part. They also wanted to claim damages worth Rs.5 crores. Now, Rohit Shetty, who’s directing Sara in her second outing Simmba, has come to her rescue.
If reports are to be believed, Abhishek Kapoor, Ronnie Screwvala and Rohit Shetty had a settlement outside court and the matter was resolved amicably. A source said, “Rohit and Abhishek had a talk. Ronnie, too, was present at the meeting. The three filmmakers met on Sunday to discuss the matter. Karan Johar couldn’t be there as he’s holidaying in the US. They have come to a mutual agreement. Sara will shoot simultaneously for Kedarnath and Simmba.”
Well, that has definitely come as a major relief for Sara as her film Kedarnath has already gone through a lot of controversies. The film is all set to release on the 30th of November, 2018 and Simmba is scheduled for a 28th December, 2018 release.
