‘Rock On 2’ American Tour Cancelled!

‘Rock on 2’ is one of the most awaited movies of this year starring Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. Everyone was blown away after the teaser of this sequel released. Before the film’s release makers had announced an extensive US tour to promote this movie. The band was supposed to perform at Houston, New Jersey and California in mid-October.

Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor and Purab Kohli along with Shankar-Ehsan-Loy were to perform but sadly the tour got cancelled. Allegedly the sponsors pulled out before the stars travelled to America. We hear the reason was that the tickets were not selling and the show would have been a disaster. The tickets were priced reasonably at $35, $55, $75, $100 and $300 respectively. The event listing page for Oracle Arena at Oakland (California), the venue of the show, carries the cancelled notice. A refund will be available to whoever has paid for the show.
