Is the rivalry between Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif an unhealthy one?

It is known that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have been arch rivals for quite a while now. Although  it’s common to hear when a star replaces the other as a face of a particular brand. But, this recent ambassador swap has been the most interesting one.

Recently, Deepika Padukone reportedly replaced Katrina Kaif as the face of an international cosmetic brand. Rumour mills are abuzz that Kat had been replaced due to her uncooperative and unprofessional behaviour. A friend of Kat cleared the air by saying that it was Katrina who chose to drop out as she is set to launch her own cosmetic brand.

Also, her friends turned the blame to Deepika Padukone as they accused her of playing unhealthy games in this on-going rivalry between the two. A source close to Kat quoted “Why is there insecurity about Katrina? Wonder who DP’s advisers are, who are behaving like this? One could understand if you don’t have anything. But when you do, what is the need to pull down others to push yourself up?”

What’s really happening between the two is somewhat still a mystery for us.
