REVEALED: Parineeti Chopra to star opposite Akshay Kumar in Kesari

After months of speculations, Karan Johar finally announced Kesari starring Akshay Kumar. Ever since then there were speculations about who will star opposite Akshay in the film. Names like Parineeti Chopra and Katrina Kaif were considered for the role.

Now the makers have finally revealed the lead heroine of the film. Dharma Production on Twitter revealed the leading lady of the film.

Recently Akshay Kumar shared his first look from Kesari and it looked quite impressing.

The action stunts of the film will be choreographed by Lawrence Woodward. He has choreographed stunts of Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road and Moulin Rouge among others.

The movie is directed by Anurag Singh and will be based on The Battle of Saragarhi. Kesari will go on floors by January and it is all set to hit the theatres in Holi 2019.

On the other hand, Akshay will be seen in 2.0, PadMan, Gold, and Crack.
