REVEALED: Padmavati delayed, courtesy Ranveer Singh!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati has been in the works for almost forever now. There have been many reasons as to why Padmavati has taken so long. From the acts of vandalism on sets to labor union protests to perhaps even creative differences between the lead cast from time to time, all these things have caused Padmavati to be in works for more than a year now.

Off late, with the first look posters of Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor from the magnum opus, the makers announced the release date to be December 1. Wondering why? Well, thank Ranveer Singh for that.

As per reports, Ranveer has been seen in three different avatars throughout this year to play the menacing Allauddin Khilji in the three phases of his life. As of now, Ranveer Singh is sporting a clean-shaven look to wrap up the final scenes of his portion in the magnum opus within the next week, which will reportedly show Khilji in his early years. The shoot will reportedly wrap up within the next one week.

Also, reports suggest that it hasn’t been easy for Singh to keep the menacing Khilji persona going for one whole year and is consulting a psychiatrist to get out of the evil Khilji mind.
