WHAT?! Ranveer Singh to miss Padmavati promotions!

The team of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati is about to kick-start their promotions and their first stop for TV promotions is going to be on the sets of none other than Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 in Lonavla towards the end of this month. But, there’s a twist to the tale of their promotion schedules.

Interestingly, Padmavati will only be promoted on Bigg Boss by the Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who play Maharawal Ratan Singh and Rani Padmini in the magnum opus respectively. While on the other hand, Ranveer Singh, who stole our breath away as the menacing Alauddin Khilji will be giving this event a miss for reasons that stay unknown.

A source close to the affair stated,  “Padmavati is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of 2017 along with Tiger Zinda Hai. So it will be fun to see the cast of Padmavati with Salman Khan on his show! Both Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor will be visiting the sets of Bigg Boss 11 in the last week of October. Ranveer Singh is missing the promotion activity because he has some prior commitments. While Singh will be missed, Deepika and Salman’s camaraderie along with Shahid Kapoor’s antics are sure to entertain the audience.”

Indeed true. We will clearly miss Singh during the Bigg Boss episode but hopefully, the power-packed trio of Salman-Deepika-Shahid will make up for it.
