Ranveer Singh to host Baba Ramdev’s Om Shanti Om!

Baba Ramdev is all set to debut on the small screen with a different kind of singing reality show, titled Om Shanti Om, where the contestants will battle it out with devotional songs. Well, when there is a different kind of show, you’d also need a different kind of host, right?

If reports are to be believed, none other than Ranveer Singh will be hosting the pilot episode of the singing reality show! Talk about some exciting news.

A source very close to the affair spilled the beans on the same by saying, “Ranveer has been roped in for the shubhaarambh episode, after which Aparshakti Khurana will take over as host. The actor will open the show by performing on the Gajanana song from his last Bhansali film, Bajirao Mastani. He will also be introducing the show’s 14 contestants.”

On the work front, Ranveer is tied up with Padmavati which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
