Ranveer Singh GETS CANDID about Anushka Sharma!

Well, who has forgotten the hit flick Band Baaja Baarat? The film that introduced us to a certain Ranveer Singh alongside a then second-timer Anushka Sharma? Since then, the two have done two films together after that (Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Dil Dhadakne Do), which led to rumors of a relationship brewing. But then, each went their own separate ways. While Anushka is now happily married to Indian cricket captain, Virat Kohli, Singh is reportedly dating his Padmavati co-star Deepika Padukone.

One would wonder that things have gone sour since their alleged fallout, right?

Well, Ranveer has a different story to tell.

Speaking about the same, he said, “It’s wonderful to see how far she has come. She was always amazing as an actor, but her craft has gotten more solid. She’s also come into her own as a person. She’s comfortable with herself and clear about her choices.”

He also revealed as to how he was CONSTANTLY compared to Anushka by their mentor Aditya Chopra, under whom the two debuted.

He said that almost all the time, Aditya would tell him that, “Tu nalayak hai… seekh kuch Anushka se… (You are useless, learn something from Anushka).”

Talking about Anushka’s nature, he said, “But we share a great camaraderie. She’s an honest person, almost to a fault.”

Well, given that their camaraderie is still alive and vibrant, would it be too much to ask them to work together one more time?
