Rani Mukerji walks out of Karan Johar’s India’s Next Superstar sets

Recently we had informed that Rani Mukerji will be joining Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty on the reality show India’s Next Superstar for the promotions of her upcoming film Hichki. But according to reports Rani walked out of the sets in the middle of the shoot.

Before you jump to any conclusion Rani had a serious back injury and was unable to shoot for India’s Next Superstar despite being on the set

A source from the sets revealed “Rani has been in excruciating pain for the past three days. She is a thorough professional and despite her back issue, she landed up on the sets of India’s Next Superstar today. She was getting ready to shoot with her best friend Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty and that’s when she again felt a surge in pain. She couldn’t move. Her pain was excruciating again and unfortunately, she had to rush home to be attended by her doctor. We hope she gets well soon,”

We wish Rani a speedy recovery.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma, the movie is set to touch the hearts of audiences when it releases on February 23.
