Rakesh Sharma’s biopic, starring Shah Rukh Khan, gets a title and it’s not Salute!

Ever since the biopic on the late astronaut Rakesh Sharma was announced with Shah Rukh Khan, people were speculating and some even confirmed it’s called Salute. But now, it has been revealed that the film is not titled Salute but Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. Isn’t that quite a unique title?

With this film, ace producer Siddharth Roy Kapur will venture into a new production house called Roy Kapur Films. This ambitious film will be directed by Mahesh Mathai and written by Anjum Rajabali, who’s known for some impressive works in the past with films like Ghulam, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Raajneeti. As far as the leading lady is concerned, earlier there were reports that Bhumi Pednekar would star opposite SRK, but a few days ago, another report suggested that the makers have finalized Rani Mukerji for the part.

Well, let’s see who finally gets to share screen-space with Shah Rukh Khan. The film is touted to release on Christmas 2019.
