Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 beats Vijay’s Sarkar at the Chennai box-office on Day 1!

As expected, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 has opened to a historic note at the box-office in Chennai. Just a few weeks ago on Diwali, Vijay’s Sarkar received a thunderous response at the ticket windows and collected over 2.37 crores at the box-office. However, this Sci-Fi has marched way ahead and collected approx 2.64 crores and shattered all previous records. Trade Analyst Ramesh Bala shared the collections on his Twitter timeline, have a look right here:-

Not only the Tamil version, but the Hindi version also got a stupendous response from the audiences as well, and if reports are to be believed, it may collect over 20 crores on Day 1 and surpass the lifetime collections of the prequel on the opening day itself. Let’s wait for the final numbers!
