Raid Trailer: Ajay Devgn is back in action

After tickling our bones in Golmaal Again, Ajay Devgn is all set to off his serious action avatar in Raid. The poster of the film was released this morning and now the makers have released the trailer of the film.

The trailer shows Ajay Devgn as Amay Patnaik a Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow.

The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz. This is the second time when Ajay and Ileana are paired on the big screen after Baadshaho.

Set in Uttar Pradesh in the 1980s, the film is inspired from the real-life events involving one of the most high-profile income tax raids ever.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the script of the film is written by Ritesh Shah, who was associated with Pink and Airlift. Raid is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 16 this year.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn is lined up with the untitled urban love story along with Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu. After this, he will be seen in Tanaji. The film will be based on the legendary Maratha warrior Subedar Taanaji Malusare who was a close friend and aide to Chhatrapati Shivaji and is better known for the Battle of Sinhagad.
