Raazi trailer to be attached with October

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt don’t really seem to be getting enough of each other. They’ve already given a hat-trick of successful films with Student of the Year (2012), Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath ki Dulhania (2017).

And now, it’s being reported that Alia Bhatt’s next, Raazi, which is all set to release on the 11th of May this year, will have its trailer attached with Varun Dhawan’s October.

Interestingly, both October and Raazi are emotionally draining and cinematically esoteric films, but that’s where the craft of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan lie. It would be really interesting to witness the two actors attempt a space they haven’t explored before.

Although, Alia Bhatt has been through such characters with Highway (2014) and Udta Punjab (2016), collaborating with Meghna Gulzar on a story about Kashmir would only expand her horizons as a performer.

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan, yet to deliver a commercial failure, still continues to tackle copious brickbats on his films and overacting. Shoojit Sircar’s October could be a game-changer for the actor. And this looks like that one rare film that deserves to be looked beyond box-office and opening numbers.

All in all, we are excited to see both the films. October on the 13th of April and Raazi on the 11th of May.
