After producing Jagga Jasoos, Ranbir Kapoor all set to turn director next?

From Barfi to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and more – Ranbir Kapoor has impressed everyone with his versatile acting skills. The actor recently turned producer for his upcoming film Jagga Jasoos but soon admitted that he won’t continue to produce films after Jagga Jasoos. He does not want to go ahead with producing films as has realised that it simply isn’t something he wants to do.

Well, Ranbir Kapoor now wants to try his hands out in directing a movie.

In a recent interview, Ranbir said “It’s not a skill set I have and I am very happy being an actor and would probably want to direct a film. It is something which I am more ambitious about and I am not in a mood to produce something after this.”

He also added that he is happy to see his name written as a producer. In the past, Ranbir started his career as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the 2005 film Black – Let’s see what the future holds for this wannabe director!

Coming back to Jagga Jasoos – the film narrates the story of a young detective, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is in search of his missing father. Katrina Kaif stars as his partner-in-crime.

After Jagga Jasoos Ranbir will be next seen in much awaited Sanjay Dutt biopic. The untitled biopic will hit screens on 30 March 2018.
