Priyanka: I went on from becoming an aeronautical engineer to standing on a world stage!

Priyanka Chopra is a one woman army and the babe is unstoppable. She has made it big in the industry without anyone’s support and now she is making it big in Hollywood. The actress is now basking in the tremendous success, post her stint on TV in the US. Priyanka’s upcoming Hollywood film Baywatch is set for a 2017 release. Piggy Chops will also be seen judging the American reality TV series, ‘Project Runway’ alongside supermodel Heidi Klum.

Recently, in an interview to a popular TV channel, Priyanka shared that she was never a kind of a person who had to be put in a box. The actress also reflected on her journey from a carefree teenager to her present ambitious, goal-oriented woman. “I love to challenge the status quo, to pursue an idea, a dream that I had for myself, I always wanted to give those thoughts a shot,” reported the Dawn.

Priyanka added, “I’ve been in the public since I was 17-years-old and it’s really all I’ve known. Being crowned Miss India and then Miss World, suddenly I went on from becoming an aeronautical engineer, carefree teenager to standing on a world stage, where I have to have a point of view on probably the most important world events.”

Moreover, PeeCee believes that she owed the success to herself. “The innate ability to recognize opportunities that are presented to me gave me courage. I tried my hand in the Hindi film industry. I literally had no training, no godfather, no experience. I guess I just had a belief in myself, and it’s been an incredible journey with highs, lows, successes, failures, joy, sadness, and everything else in the middle, but it’s been all my own,” she said, before signing off.

We also hear the babe just broke the 10 million followers on Instagram. The 34-year-old star has become the second most followed Indian film actor on the photo-sharing site after Deepika Padukone, who has a 10.7 million followers.

Alia Bhatt holds the third spot with 8.5 million followers, whereas Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are in the fourth and fifth positions with 6.8 million and 6.3 million followers, respectively.
