Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ mehendi and sangeet venue changed!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ much awaited wedding is all set to take place at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Rajasthan. The couple has also headed to Rajasthan for their big day.

Now, according to the latest development, the venue for the pre-wedding festivities has been changed.

As per the earlier reports, it was being said that the pre-wedding festivities, including mehendi and sangeet, will take place at Mehrangarh Fort, but due to security reasons, the venue has been changed to Umaid Bhawan Palace.

According to the reports of a daily, “Priyanka wanted police protection to travel from Umaid Bhawan Palace to Mehrangarh Fort and she even hired a private security agency for the same. But the Jodhpur police refused to provide them protection citing the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan.”

Besides, the Umaid Bhavan Palace will be shut for the public for almost a week and a notice has been put outside Umaid Bhavan which reads, “due to security reasons, the palace will be closed for public from November 29, 2018, to December 3, 2018.”
