Priyanka Chopra all set to add another feather to her cap!
Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly the epitome of women empowerment. The actress who has proven her prowess in the field of acting, singing and production, is all set to invest in tech start-ups and launch Bumble, the dating app for women in India. This will reportedly be her second investment in a tech company, besides a coding education company called Holberton School. She took to her Twitter timeline and shared the news with her fans. As per a leading daily, Priyanka Chopra was one of the high-profile women who had helped Bumble to kick start its networking app, Bumble Bizz, in October 2017.
Talking about Priyanka, the Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd said at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit on Wednesday. “She’s a partner, and she’s going to help us empower not only the women of India—she will be a global force,”
She further added, “Women globally want to be empowered. They need to feel safe, and they need to connect.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra currently is busy with her upcoming Bollywood movie ‘The Sky Is Pink’ along with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in pivotal roles. On the other hand, she will be also seen in the Hollywood film ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ co-starring Chris Pratt.
