Pratyusha Banerjee’s film can get Kamya Punjabi Jailed!

Television actor Kamya Punjabi earlier announced that she would be releasing Pratyusha Banerjee’s last project titled ‘Hum Kuchh Keh Naa Sakey’ on 1st April which is Pratyusha’s first death anniversary. The 18 min short film has a mystifying resemblance to the late actor’s real life and also depicts her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

On discovering about the movie, Rahul got his lawyer to get a stay order issued on the film right away. However, Kamya denied receiving any such notice and released the film online.

Rahul, who has been accused of Pratyusha’s suicide felt the film might be venomous as the case is still being fought in court and clearly portrays Rahul in a negative light.  The film also has a character entitled ‘Rahul’.

Although Kamya claims that the protagonist in the film is not based on Rahul or his life, Rahul is making every possible attempt to stop the screening and has sent out another legal notice that could put Kamya behind bars.
