Padmavati Vs Padman, Republic Day Clash of 2018?

Ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali started his dream project Padmavati, it has faced all the troubles every filmmaker can face. Right from the political protest to vandalising movie sets, Padmavati has encountered it all. Recently there was good news for Sanjay Leela Bhansali after the supreme court in India issued orders against political parties and self-vigilante group for speaking against the film, without even watching it.

There were rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, Padmavati will release on the same day as Akshay Kumar’s Padman. Now that is a proper battle at the box-office which everyone would like to see isn’t it? But that’s not going to happen as Sanjay Leela Bhansali just confirmed that the movie would get a solo release once all the protest die. The makers are yet to fix on a date, but soon it will be decided.

Meanwhile, Sanjay has been working on the movie even harder after the film got postponed and is putting all his efforts into post-production. Padmavati is Sanjay’s most expensive movie till date and the makers are targeting a February 2018  release.

Let’s just hope that the protests end soon, and we get to see Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie as quickly as possible.
