Padmavati Trailer: Get ready for the ultimate war

After a long wait and teasing us with the first looks of the leads Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor the makers have now released the much-awaited trailer of Padmavati. And we must say the trailer is worth the wait.

Padmavati is based on the ruthless Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh, and his attempt to capture the beautiful Rani Padmini of Chittor. All the three characters  Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, do justice to their role and Padmavti is surely going to be 2017’s biggest film.

The makers released the trailer at 13.03 pm. The reason why they chose such timing was because Maharawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor’s character) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh’s character) started their battle in 1303 AD and hence the special timing has been chosen for the trailer launch.

The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, Padmavati is slated to release on 1st December 2017.
