Padmavati Row: Deepika Padukone gets SUPPORT from Karnataka Government!

As of current scenario, a total of four states have protested the Deepika Padukone-starrer and some states are “hurt” to the extent that they have even gone ahead to place a bounty of a WHOPPING 10 CRORES to do the heinous task of “burning Deepika alive”

In the light of all this, fortunately, all is not downhill for our on-screen Rani Padmini. We had reported that she has been given extra security in Mumbai itself right after a threat of having her nose chopped off was issued to the actress. And now, her home state, Karnataka, has also promised her and her family security, given the current turn of events.

The Congress-led Karnataka government, on top of extending security to her whenever she is in the state, has also permitted the screening of the film provided the makers have a nod from the censor board.

On Monday, CM Siddaramaiah spoke to his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar and requested him to take action against those threatening the actress.

Well, we hope that Deepika Padukone stays safe and keep giving us more fantastic films like she always has.
