Padmavat vs Pad Man: Amitabh Bachchan DECODES the clash!
Apart from the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ensemble magnum opus Padmavat(i) has been in the limelight for all the episodes that have taken place with the makers in the past year or so, it yet again has garnered a lot of eyeballs, and not because of the fact that the film has a release date, but the release date is the same as that of R Balki’s Akshay Kumar-starrer, PadMan.
Just a short while ago, we had reported how Ram Gopal Varma has pointed out certain interesting similarities between the two films, such as that both films are period dramas, in one sense of the word or the other and the likes, for which you could click here!
But now, Amitabh Bachchan has also jumped onto the topical bandwagon by actually pointing out that the word “Padma” (which is a common word in both the films) is somewhat of an operating keyword for the clash.
Check out the tweet take by the winner of “Padma”shri, “Padma”bhushan and “Padma” vibhushan awards himself:

Isn’t his humor simply on point?
By the way, fun fact: Bachchan saab has a cameo in one of these films. Can you guess which one? Let us know in the comments.
