After Padmaavat success Deepika Padukone all set to start with Sapna Didi from March

Deepika Padukone’s latest release Padmaavat has hit the screens after a lot of controversies. The magnum opus has received a tremendous response from the audience across the globe. And after delivering a hard-hitting performance in the magnum opus historical drama, Deepika is all set to start working on her next, Sapna Didi from the first week of March.

The film will go on floors in Nepal. Sapna Didi will even bring back the Piku pair as Irrfan Khan will also be a part of the project.

Deepika will essay the role of gangster Rahim Khan alias Sapna Didi, who had almost killed dreaded underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. Irrfan will be seen playing the role of a local gangster who is in love with her and helps her in her mission to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim.

Sapna Didi will be produced by T-series, Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, and KriArj Entertainment. The film will be helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Sapna Didi will hit the screens on 2nd October 2018 and will hit the will clash with Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma-starrer SUI DHAAGA – Made in India.
