Padmaavat: Karni Sena ATTACKS a SCHOOL!

Now that the most controversial magnum opus of the year, Padmaavat finally has a release date, we cannot wait to witness the sheer awesomeness that Bhansali has to offer. But, like many of the films, this film too has had its fair share of controversies, and the kinds of issues. And, Padmaavat, in particular, has had to face them for quite some time now, courtesy a certain Karni Sena.

Speaking of them, the people who call themselves the guardians of Rajasthani history and its traditions, have once again went ahead to attack a yet another place on their home ground, simply because a song from Padmaavat (Ghoomar) was being played at a local school.

Yes, isn’t it shocking? Reports suggest that while children were performing on Ghoomar, Karni Sena made their protest and hurt “sentiments” felt by attacking an innocent school and its innocent kids.

We wonder: How is it ever justified to hurt someone else because your sentiments are hurt? That too over a film which could very well be a piece of fiction.
