Padmaavat: Deepika Padukone CREATES HISTORY!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat has proven to be an unbeatable force at the box office, and it is rightly so! Thanks to the stellar execution of the story and the impeccable performances that have been delivered by each and every one in the lead.

But, however, although we are admittedly late, we must address that with this, its leading lady, Deepika Padukone has become the FIRST EVER actress who’s playing a titular role in a film that is a part of the super-coved 200-crore club.

As of now, this is the total that Padmaavat has made on the home ground, as per popular trade analyst, Ramesh Bala.
