Oops! Ali Zafar replaced in ‘Dear Zindagi’?

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ is surely one of the most-awaited movies of the year. However, this film too has its share of controversies.

A Pakistani actor in a Bollywood film will only attract controversies and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is a good example of it. Since the situation between India and its neighbouring country is a bit tense and there is political pressure for not casting Pakistani actors in Indian films, Ali Zafar has reportedly been replaced from ‘Dear Zindagi’.

Seems Red Chillies Entertainments and Dharma Productions took their lesson seriously and hence the decision. An insider informed, “Ali Zafar has been replaced in the film with Tahir Raj Bhasin, Rani Mukerji’s nemesis from Mardaani”. A dance number, sung by Arijit Singh has already been shot with Alia Bhatt and Tahir.
