OMG: This is why Sridevi barely spoke to her husband for 2 months!

There is no doubt that Sridevi is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. She has shown us her acting skills in many movies and is ready to make her comeback with the upcoming thriller MOM.

Sridevi instantly connected with the script and understood the emotions of the character. To get into the skin of the character, Sridevi avoided social conversation completely while shooting for the film.

She barely even spoke to her husband Boney Kapoor for 2 months. The actress was so engaged with her character that even post the day’s shoot, she would continue to remain in her character. Sometimes her daughters would tell her to snap out of her character Deviki.

Speaking about it Sridevi said, “I was in a different frame of mind while shooting for MOM. It was not a conscious decision where I decided to avoid talking to people for the sake of my role, but while filming, my head space and the character didn’t permit me and allow me to just be normal. I was in a shell, I was not communicating with my family as much as I normally would. In fact, my daughter told me at the end of all the shoots and filming that ‘Mom thank God you are back to being normal again’”.

MOM is Sridevi’s 300th film and is being released in the 50th year of her film career.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar the movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles. The movie is slated to hit the screens on 7th July 2017.
