OMG: Rajnikanth replaces Shah Rukh Khan

Superstar Rajnikanth will replace King Khan as the Brand Ambassador of Malaysian Tourism. Reports suggest that the Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz suggested Rajini’s name over SRK for Malacca.

We wonder if it is because Rajinikanth’s last movie Kabali was about Malaysian Tamils and was shot mostly in Malaysia with only a few parts been shot in Chennai and Hong Kong? Looks like the south superstar has a huge fan following even in this country? – This is Rajnikanth after all!

We also got to know that the first couple of Malaysia, Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohammad Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, and his wife, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, who are Indian cinema admirers undoubtedly became fans of Rajinikanth during his long stay in Malacca, for the shoot of his film, Kabali.

However, we all know Rajinikanth, keeps his cards close to his chest. No one can actually predict how he would react to this. So, let’s wait and watch whether the south superstar Rajnikanth accepts the invitation from the Malaysian government or will King Khan rule Malaysia instead?
