OMG! Kapil Sharma gets hospitalised

Ever since the infamous mid-air brawl between Kapil Sharma and the teammates of The Kapil Sharma Show, almost nothing has been going right for the comedian.

With the ratings of his shows at an all-time low around the time where his contract renewal is due, it is understandable that Kapil is working under a tremendous amount of pressure. Seems like working extra hours to get the ratings of his show back on track has taken a toll on his health.

The end result? The man landed up in a hospital at about 4 pm yesterday due to a fluctuating blood pressure issue.

The incident was confirmed by a source, who said “Kapil was admitted to a hospital in Andheri at 4 pm today after he complained of uneasiness. It is a blood pressure related problem. It is a result of back-to-back shooting.”

As it turns out, Kapil was shooting with Paresh Rawal who had come to promote his upcoming film Guest iin London. It is then when the actor-comedian began complaining about uneasiness, soon after which he was rushed to the hospital and admitted.

Kapil’s co-star Kiku Sharda, who plays nurse Bumper on the show, gave a statement to a leading newspaper saying “Yes, Kapil was feeling uneasy so he was taken to the hospital and was admitted. But there’s nothing to worry. He is fine now.”

Seems like Kapil Sharma learned the meaning behind “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” the hard way.
