OH NO! Sridevi gets ANGRY with Karan Johar!

Karan Johar is going to be one busy producer for the next year or two, thanks to the Alia Bhatt–Ranbir Kapoor–Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Bhramastra and then the Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari right after that. But, amongst these films, he has also reportedly promised Sridevi to announce the Hindi remake of the hit Marathi flick Sairat starring her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar, which hasn’t happened yet. So, naturally, this has got the evergreen diva a little worried for her daughter darling.

As per a source, Sridevi was of the opinion that a grand announcement of the film was supposed to be made and it was scheduled to go on floors coming November. Also, the film reportedly is undergoing a few changes to suit the Hindi film going audience better. But, that news also cropped up a long time ago. We wonder what’s happening on that front.

Given that all the buzz had died down in time and we heard nothing with regards to the film until now, we sit in wonder: Is the film going to be announced this year AT ALL? Given a yet another star kid around the same age is already shooting for her debut film.

Only time will give answers to our burning questions.
