Not Dabangg 3, Salman Khan’s Bharat to release first

We reported a few days ago how Salman Khan could release Dabangg 3 by January 2019 itself. But, it seems the third film in the franchise is going to take some time to see the lights of the day, and Salman might begin Bharat before, which also stars Priyanka Chopra. We also reported how Salman was supposed to shoot for Dabangg 3 and Bharat simultaneously, but the actor, along with his brother and the producer, Arbaaz Khan, have decided to put this much-awaited action flick on a back-burner.

A trade analyst states, “Salman needs to be a part of a powerful story like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. He has to restore his image as a bankable actor.”  Given the subject of Bharat and how it dabbles with the various stages of the protagonist’s life, there’s a lot of scope for Salman to showcase his acting prowess the way he did in Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.

All set to release on EID 2019, let’s see whether Salman and Ali Abaas Zafar, the film’s director, can score a hat-trick of hits with this drama or not.
