Next hearing of Salman Khan’s Blackbuck Case to be held on this date!
Salman Khan’s legal woes refuse to end. It has been 20 years since the Blackbuck case and the actor still continues to make fleeting court appearances. The next hearing of the case was scheduled for the 29th of November, 2018 but now has been deferred to December 18. In an interview, the actor’s counsel, Mahesh Bora stated, “There are two appeals pending in the sessions court — one each by the government against the acquittal of Khan in the Arms Act case and one by Khan himself challenging the conviction in a poaching case.”
Khan invited more troubles for himself as the prosecution moved two applications against the actor. The first for misleading the Court to obtain exemption from an appearance owing to a physical problem, and the second for giving false information about his arms through an Affidavit. Salman was convicted for five years by the trial court under the Wildlife Protection Act for killing two Blackbucks in Jodhpur in 1998. He’s currently out on bail.
