Nawazuddin to be blamed for Indrani Mukerjea-Sheena Bora film being shelved!

Manish Gupta was planning to make a second installment for his film, ‘Rahasya’. His first film, based on the Arushi Talwar murder case received a positive response from the censor board. Hence now, Manish Gupta planned to make a sequel to this film built around the Sheena Bora murder case which was to be named ‘Rahasya 2’.

Recently, the film was offered to Nawazuddin Siddiqui and we hear that Nawazuddin’s camp asked for as huge fees of Rs 1.5 crore from director Manish Gupta if he wants him to play a cop in ‘Rahasya 2’.

Previously, Tabu too was offered the role of Indrani in the film, the woman accused of murdering Sheena. Tabu soon shut the doors on the director’s face. Soon after that, Viacom backed out too and Manish decided to put the movie on hold. A source close to Manish said, “Gupta will put himself back in this film only when he’s sure that people are interested in doing his film. There’s nothing happening on Gupta’s front for now.”

Seems like Manish Gupta is holding this one close to his heart!
