Nanu Ki Jaanu: When Patralekhaa CONQUERED her fear of heights!

It is perhaps part and parcel of an actor’s job, or that of anyone for that matter, to overcome one’s fear if that someone is staring right into its face and doing so is the only possible way to get the work done.

One such fear could be that of heights, which may not sound as easy to conquer as one would say, especially if you have a condition known as Vertigo.

One such case is (or maybe now, was) that of Nanu Ki Jaanu star Patralekhaa, who had to hang from a 2-story-high building in a harness for a seemingly very crucial sequence in the film. Naturally, she was in two minds about the scene, owing to her situation, but, being a true professional that she is, she shot for the same after overcoming her fear, something that her co-star Abhay Deol helped in doing so.

Speaking about returning to celluloid after being seen in Vikram Bhatt’s Love Games, she shared that, “It’s very difficult to get good scripts. The scripts that come to me are not great. So to get a good script from the 10-15 that are offered is a blessing. I want to be a good actress, I want to be among the best in the country and I believe I have the capabilities to be the same.”

Speaking about her upcoming film Nanu Ki Jaanu, which hits theatres tomorrow, she said that, “Nanu Ki Jaanu is such a sweet, endearing film. I had so much fun doing it. Both my previous films were heavy and high on drama, so this was super fun. It is in a very happy space, something I relate to the most.” 

Well, we are now excited for sure!
