Mouni Roy to star in Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra

Television hottie Mouni Roy is all set to make her big Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold. The two are currently shooting for the same and Mouni has already bagged her second film. She will next star in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s super fictional film Brahmastra.

A source close to the project revealed “She recently came on board and will start shooting early next year, when the film goes on floors. For now, Ayan is keeping other details of her role under wraps.”

Well we dont know much about Mouni’s role but this surely comes a big news for all Mouni Roy fans.

Brahmastra, the film will also star Amitabh Bachchan and will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. If reports are to be believed than Ranbir will be essaying the role of a fire-emitting superhero in the film. The film will hit the screens on August 15, 2019.

Speaking of Gold it is a historical sports drama which will showcase the journey of India winning its 1st gold medal as a free nation in the Olympics, 1948. Mouni is reported to play Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film.
