Is a molestation case concerning Hrithik Roshan?
The world has been waiting to catch more of Hrithik Roshan on the silver screen, which is not happening since he is signing and dropping out of or delaying one film or the other at any given time. One such example is the upcoming biopic of the mathematician Anand Kumar, which, he hasn’t dropped out of as yet (thank goodness for that) but has pushed its shooting ahead since his focus at the moment is Krrish 4, as is well known.
One reason that is being given for this delay on Duggu’s part is the molestation case controversy that is surrounding the director of the biopic, Vikas Bahl.
However, a source close to the development of Krrish 4 said “The script is being worked on. Though Hrithik had agreed to be part of the movie, the paperwork was to be done. Since Rakesh Roshan is on the last leg of scripting Krrish and Hrithik wants to start prep for that film first. His father’s film is his first priority.”
Also, with regards to Vikas Bahl, an insider was quoted by a daily saying “It has been done to ensure the controversy he got embroiled in a few months ago doesn’t take the focus away from the movie.”
For those who are unaware, a colleague accused Bahl of molesting her in Goa, to which, in response the board of Phantom Films, where Bahl held the position of a director, said: “We (Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films) have taken a hard stand, based on what we have heard and investigated.” The filmmaker was formally asked to step down as a shareholder on March 28. The decision needed to be taken because it was getting too much.”
Seems like all Hrithik wants as of now for the matters to cool down before he could begin working on the biopic. Well, as long as Duggu doesn’t call it quits.
