MOGUL: Is Aamir Khan back in the Gulshan Kumar biopic?

The much-talked about Gulshan Kumar biopic Mogul has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Aamir Khan refused to work in the film after director Subhash Kapoor was accused of sexual harassment by actor Geetika Tyagi. And then there were reports that it has been left hanging in the balance since there was no actor who could replace Khan with immediate effect. However, it seems Mr. Perfectionist is back on board but with a condition.

He’ll be a part of the film only when Kapoor is replaced by another director. A source says, “The script is close to Aamir and he wants to make the film. Bhushan and he have had a number of meetings since and decided to collaborate on Mogul again. The hunt is on for another director. They are also looking at finalizing the cast so they can roll with the film, ASAP.”

The film may also see Sonakshi Sinha in the role of the leading lady. But it’s still not clear who’ll play the late Gulshan Kumar! But we hope it’s Aamir Khan only! The film is slated to release on Christmas 2019.
