Mogul: Has Aamir Khan TOTALLY replaced Akshay Kumar?

Excitement had been over the moon when we learnt that Akshay Kumar will be essaying the character of late music mogul and founder of T-Series, Gulshan Kumar, in latter’s biopic that was aptly titled, Mogul.

But then, came in the sad news that Akshay Kumar was seemingly having creative differences with its makers, and in turn, Kumar opted out of the project and even returned the signing amount. From then on, we were having a hard time picturing anyone else as Gulshanji.

But then, our faith in the content of the script got re-instated when we heard that Aamir Khan will be at least co-producing the film, if not act in it.

A source who is seemingly close to the affairs stated, “Aamir will produce this biopic, which itself is an important development. Whether he will play the lead is not yet decided. No other details are known as of now.”

But now comes in the big news, and that is that Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist might actually fill the shoes that were left empty by Khiladi Kumar as the former has been approached for the titular role. And, if the claims made by a particular source are to go by, Aamir might sign on the dotted line very soon!

The source in question was quoted saying, ”Aamir is known to be a perfectionist, and takes his own time to choose films. He was approached for Mogul, and in turn the actor asked the filmmakers to work around a few changes in the script. The makers have been meeting up with Aamir constantly with fresh changes, and Aamir has liked it. He might now act in it.”

Well, that is Aamir for you. Expect the unexpected of him. This story might bare resemblance with how he ended up doing Dangal as reportedly, Aamir was a bit reluctant to get into the skin of Mahavir Phogat.
