Mogul: Is Aamir Khan TOTALLY REPLACING Akshay Kumar?

We were severely heartbroken when the news of Pad Man Akshay Kumar dropping off from Gulshan Kumar’s biopic, Mogul, surfaced. Many people claimed that perhaps because there were date issues, while others stated that perhaps Akki had some creative differences with the makers.

A source was quoted saying “Akshay has some concerns over the script that director Subhash Kapoor has greenlit. He requested a few things be rewritten. But, Subhash was adamant. Hence, Akshay thought it was best if he opted out.”

In fact, not only that the Khiladi of Bollywood has opted out, he has also returned the signing amount.

And now, a new set of reports suggest that while Akshay has allegedly opted out of the film due to creative differences, Aamir Khan has agreed to join team Mogul, but only as a producer as of now.

The source adds, “Aamir will produce this biopic, which itself is an important development. Whether he will play the lead is not yet decided. No other details are known as of now.”

Whether or not Aamir will play the late Gulshan ji, we still have to know, but, we have a new level of trust on team Mogul, as Aamir Khan NEVER puts his money behind substandard scripts.
