MET Gala 2018: Priyanka Chopra NAILS it, Deepika Padukone disappoints!

The star-studded MET Gala is known for having truly one-of-a-kind themes for their magnanimous events, to which we see some of the most known celebs around staying true to, and the 2018 edition of the same is by NO means an exception to that!

Staying true to the theme of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, our very own Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra made an appearance at the event in style in a red velvet Ralph Lauren gown, to which she added her Catholic Imagination by completing the overall look with a bejeweled hood. We commend PC for staying true to the theme and looking like someone we could worship in a shrine.

But, can we say the say the same for Deepika Padukone? Well, she did make us red hot, though! (with fury, that is).

Much to our disappointment, DP went completely way off point by donning a simple red Prabal Gaurang gown as if she had set out on making a different kind of statement altogether (Which she failed MISERABLY at) or, worse, had no idea about the theme!
