Man dies in accident on sets of Rajinikanth’s Kaala
SHOCKING! One technician dies in a tragic incident on sets of Rajinikanth’s Kaala Karikaalan
Superstar Rajnikanth recently wrapped up with the shooting of his upcoming film Kaala in Mumbai. After the schedule, the team moved on to Chennai for the last schedule of the movie Kaala Krikaalan. But things didn’t really go up well for the team. Unfortunately, a worker met with a fatal accident on the sets of Kaala.
A technician named Michael stepped on a live wire while working on the sets and was electrocuted. Michael was rushed to a hospital by his co-workers but unfortunately, could not be saved. Michael breathed his last at the hospital.
The crew was working on building a huge set worth Rs 5 Crore at Chennai’s EVP Studios in Poonamalle. Reports suggest that police is investigating the case and are yet to file the case.
Recently a similar accident had occurred on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming periodical drama Padmavati.
Kaala Karikaalan is directed by Pa Ranjith and stars Bollywood actors Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Pankaj Tripathi, and Marathi actress Anjali Patil in pivotal roles.
