Madhuri Dixit REVIEWS Jacqueline Fernandez’s Ek Do Teen song
Baaghi 2 may have been a blockbuster. It may have further strengthened Tiger Shroff’s box-office clout and Disha Patani’s already impressive popularity, but it was mercilessly slammed left, right and center for the rehashed version of Madhuri Dixit’s iconic song from Tezaab, Ek Do Teen. Some criticized the choice of Jacqueline Fernandez, some believed the song never required a reboot in the first place.
Now, the original Mohini and the dancing diva, Madhuri Dixit, has finally broken her silence on the remixed version of the song that made her an overnight sensation. Talking about it, the actor recently said she hasn’t seen the song yet. Adding to her statement, she said, “There is nothing wrong in remaking. I, myself, am doing the remake of ‘Paisa Hee Paisa’ song. You can’t say it is a bad thing to do. It is cute. It is an iconic song so they want to make it different but with this song people were much attached so nobody wanted to see, you can’t blame the makers.” She also had some very sweet and fond things to say about Jacqueline, here’s what she said, “I love Jacqueline Fernandez. I love the way she dances, she is so cute.”
On the work-front, Madhuri Dixit has two films this year, her Marathi debut, Bucket List, followed by Total Dhamaal. In 2019, she would be seen in Abhishek Varman’s Kalank.
