Madhu Chopra: Priyanka is unique and special

B-Town artists are making their country proud overseas and there is a  comparison being drawn between Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone post their debut. PeeCee’s mother Madhu Chopra feels that her daughter Priyanka cannot be compared to any other artist.

The 34-year-old actress had made her international acting debut in 2015 with the American television show Quantico and is awaiting her first Hollywood debut Baywatch opposite Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson.

Deepika Padukone on the other hand, started her international career with xXx: Return of Xander cage opposite Vin Diesel.

When asked about her daughter’s success, Madhu Chopra responded, “Do you actually think there can be a comparison between the two. Priyanka has no comparison with anybody. She is unique and special in what she is and what she does.”

She added, “It is exciting to see the work our actors are doing internationally. Now people realize that India does have talent and potential. I think we have done very well.”

Priyanka has managed to make her mark in the international film circuit and her mother is very proud of her achievements. “I hope Priyanka keeps moving ahead and continues to do better work and make India proud,” she says.
