LoveYatri: Aayush Sharma emerges to be the MOST PROMISING debutant!

Just a few days ago, we witnessed B-Town’s latest pair, namely Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, take to the silver screens to showcase their acting chops in LoveYatri, the Abhiraj Minawala directorial which has been bankrolled by none other than Salman Khan, the brother-in-law to Aayush and the mentor to the films’ leading pair. The flick, which is essentially a story about the journey of love, also features Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor and Prateek Gandhi, to name a few, in pivotal roles.

And now, let’s talk about the opening day number of Salman Khan’s latest production. If the Day 1 number that has been posted by its makers are to go by, LoveYatri’s Sushrut aka Aayush Sharma has proven to be a high-roller in his own right as his debut film went on to bring in approximately 2.18 crores on its day 1, whereas many other actors who have made their Bollywood debut in the past year or so couldn’t even bring in half of the aforementioned amount on the opening days of their respective big screen debut stints.

Here is a list of other Bollywood fresh faces that moviegoers have come across at the movies in the past year or so alongside the kind of moolah that their respective first big screen stints have collected on its first day:

Harshvardhan Kapoor (Mirzya): 1.59 crores

Utkarsh Sharma (Genius): 76 lakhs

Mustafa Burmawalla (Machine): 39 lakhs

Avinash Tiwary (Laila Majnu): 34 lakhs

Ishaan Khatter (Beyond The Clouds): 24 lakhs

Aadar Jain (Qaidi Band): 8 lakhs

As you can see, an opening day figure of over 2 crores for a film that is front-lined by total newcomers is indeed a commendable achievement. One must take note that the Abhiraj Minawala directorial wasn’t a solo release as its theatrical journey began alongside Ayushmann Khurrana’s AndhaDhun and Tom Hardy’s much-awaited standalone anti-hero flick, Venom. One can only imagine as to what the Day 1 number of LoveYatri might have looked like had it been a solo release.
