LOKMAT AWARDS 2019: Deepika Padukone & Vicky Kaushal awarded for their work!

With their powerful performances in the respective Padmaavat and Uri: The Surgical Strike, Deepika Padukone and Vicky Kaushal once again proved their mettle as great actors. Well, on Wednesday, Deepika and Vicky were among the few Bollywood actors who got awarded with coveted titles at the annual Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year Awards.

Vicky bagged the title of being the ‘Path-breaking Performer Of The Year’, while Deepika received the Iconic Performer Award. President Of Maharashtra Youth Congress, Satyajeet Tambe, won the Ultimate Maharashtrian Of The Year Award.

Apart from Vicky and Deepika, the other members to grace the function were Rohit Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, and Zareen Khan, among many other famous personalities from the world of politics.

On the work front, Deepka Padukone will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s next titled Chhaapak. The movie is based on the life of the acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. Kaushal, meanwhile, has an untitled horror-comedy coming up with Dharma Productions and Karan Johar’s directorial, Takht.
