Kriti Sanon to star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Ek Villain sequel?

Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor’s Ek Villain became one of the most successful films of that year. The film was appreciated a lot for its music. Now the makers are planning a sequel to the film and reports suggest that Kriti Sanon might romance opposite Sidharth Malhotra this time in the sequel.

Recently, a source had told a leading daily, “Though Kriti Sanon’s Raabta didn’t do anything great for her; the actress was appreciated for her work in Bareilly Ki Barfi that has turned the favour on her side. Same goes with Sidharth. His last few films like Baar Baar Dekho and A Gentleman tanked at the box-office but after Ittefaq, many filmmakers are said to have thought of approaching him. Also, Sidharth and Kriti have not been paired as yet so few of the makers are very keen on casting them together in a film.”

However, no official announcement is made from the makers of the film.

On the work front, Sidharth’s latest film Aiyaary has released today. Whereas Kriti is lined up with Arjun Patiala along with Diljit Dosanjh.
