Katrina Kaif to star opposite Ranveer Singh Kapil Dev’s Biopic
After the tremendous failure of Tubelight, Kabir Khan is now gearing up for the sports-based film based on the life of Kapil Dev. Kabir Khan has already roped in Ranveer Singh to play the lead role and if gossip mongers are to be believed than Kabir is considering Katina Kaif to play Romi Devi, the wife of Kapil Dev in this sports biopic!
A close source to the development revealed “So far, Kabir has not locked the lead actress. Two other actresses have been finalized, one is a newcomer and another has been suggested by Ranveer. If Katrina comes on board, it will be her first film opposite Ranveer.”
Now that’s interesting!
If things go right then this will be Katrina’s fourth film with Kabir after New York, Ek Tha Tiger, and Phantom.
The film is based on India’s historic world cup cricket victory in 1983.
Ranveer is currently busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and Katrina will begin with the promotion of the much-awaited film Tiger Zinda Hai.
