Kareena Kapoor Khan’s talaash ends, Akshay Kumar signed opposite her

For a very long time, the makers of Karan Johar’s next were in a fix, as we informed you all earlier. They all were looking for a suitable leading man for Kareena Kapoor Khan. There were reports that Sidharth Malhotra would be seen opposite her but Karan wanted a comparatively older actor with a bigger fan-following. Even Kareena was looking forward to see as to who will be cast opposite her.

Well, the makers’ hunt has finally come to an end as sources have confirmed that Akshay Kumar has been signed to play the role of Kareena’s husband. Having done at least seven films together before, both Bebo and Khiladi Kumar have shared a great rapport and it shall be a treat for their fans to see them on the big screen almost after a decade since their last outing, Kambakkht  Ishq (2009).

As far as the other leading man is concerned, there were reports that Kartik Aaryan was all set to star in the film, but now sources suggest that it won’t be him but Rajkummar Rao. Yes, you read that right! And the second leading lady is rumored to be none other than Bhumi Pednekar. The film will be directed by debutant Raj Mehta and will be based in Delhi.
