The Karan Johar and Kajol fallout was the most heart-breaking event of 2016 after Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ clashed with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’. It all started after Ajay claimed that Karan bribed Kamal R Khan to do bad publicity of ‘Shivaay’ on Twitter.
Later, Kajol retweeted Ajay’s tweet and got involved in the fight. It came as a shock because Karan and Kajol have been extremely close friends for almost 25 years now. None of the ex-besties shared their opinions about the fight with the media before, until now. Karan Johar opened up on the same in his book, ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.
He said, “It’s over. And she can never come back to my life. I don’t think she wants to either. I never want to have anything to do with them as a unit. She was the one who mattered to me but now it’s over. I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years.”
It’s rather sad, how a friendship so old ended on such a sour note!
