Karan Johar becomes the first filmmaker to be at Madame Tussauds
Karan Johar is indeed a happy man today, as he has managed an achievement no other filmmaker has yet. Very soon, he’ll be joining the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, yes, you guessed it right, Karan Johar has now become the first filmmaker to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The news was confirmed by the man of the hour himself on his Twitter timeline, check it out:-

Reportedly, the statue would be showcased to the world six months from now, hopefully by the 16th of October, 2018. This would call for a double celebration as the date also marks 20 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan’s debut as a filmmaker.
On the work-front, the Dharma scion is definitely a busy man these days as he has back-to-back films lined up. First is Raazi, which releases on the 11th of May, this would be followed by Dhadak, starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, releasing on the 20th of July, Student Of The Year 2 releases on the 23rd of November and 19th April, 2019 will see the release of Kalank, which just kick-started its pre-production yesterday. Lastly, he’s also producing an ambitious period-drama called Ranbhoomi, starring Varun Dhawan, which is scheduled to release on Diwali 2020.
